Automatic Coverage

There is automatic coverage for 90 days after acquiring the new location. It applies to all "objects" in use or connected ready for use at the location, of a type that would be included in any "object" group description shown in the declarations of the policy, provided the new location is reported to the insurer in writing within 90 days after date of acquisition. But note that if "objects" are specifically listed in the declarations instead of using a group description, the automatic coverage does not apply.

Newly acquired objects of any kind, not covered by the policy at an insured location, are not automatically covered, nor are any objects not in use or connected ready for use on the date the new location is acquired even if they are connected and made ready for use within the 90 days. The automatic coverage does not apply to consequential business interruption or, to any other indirect loss resulting from an accident to an object.

The insured is liable for additional premium from date of acquisition.
