Defense

Provides that if a claim or suit is brought against the insured alleging the insured’s liability for damage to property of another in the insured’s care, custody, or control, directly caused by an insured accident to an object, the insurer will either:

1. settle the claim or suit; or
2. defend the insured against it, while retaining the right to settle it at any time.
