Guidelines
Building Coverage
To qualify for Building
coverage, the insured must meet the following eligibility requirements.
Office Buildings, where the
insured does not occupy at least 25% of the building, are not eligible
for this program.
For a Single Occupancy
Building, the insured must occupy the building as an eligible office.
(Refer to the list of eligible occupancies.)
For a Multi-Occupancy
Building, the insured must:

occupy 25% or more of the building
as an eligible office, and
-
all other tenants of the building
must be eligible offices (refer to the list of eligible occupancies) or
included in the following list:

Actuarial Services
-
Alumni Associations
-
Broadcasters
-
Charitable Organizations
-
Consulting Services
-
Contractors Offices
-
Detective, Inspection or Security
Services
-
Employee Leasing Companies
-
Freight Forwarders
-
Importing/Exporting Operations
-
Internet Service Providers,
Web Page Designers, Internet Sales Office or any operation that uses the
internet exclusively

Investment and Financial Services
-
Management Consultants
-
Manufacturers Representatives
-
Not For Profit Organizations
-
Sales Offices
-
Sales, Service or Consulting
Organizations

Software Development or Computer
Programming
Tenants must carry their own
insurance and name our insured (the landlord) as an additional insured.

offices are eligible for this program:

Any premises that include an
ambulatory center

Any premises used for emergency/urgent
care

Holistic health centers

Opticians
-
Optometrists
-
Real Estate (office for residential
only – no commercial, no real estate management)
